We dance Mainstream and Plus programmes and have an active teaching programme from beginner to plus. When do we meet? We meet twice weekly for teaching and dancing, on - Mondays: Beginners & Mainstream - Fridays: Teach Plus & Plus. We also have joint Saturday night dances for all levels. It keeps you fit
Perfect regular exercise to keep you in shape. A low impact activity requiring constant movement and directional changes. A fun way to burn off the calories - during an hour of dancing you can use between 400 and 800 calories. Updated: 18/10/2020

PLEASE NOTE
Due to Coronavirus, dancing at Lune Valley has ceased until further notice. Restarting:
The club nights will not restart until at least October and only if the situation re Covid 19 allows. We will only run Monday nights at Halton to start with, until numbers increase enough to allow Friday nights to restart as well. It's fun
Enjoy dancing from the first night onwards. It brings people together for fun and friendship. We laugh a lot, the best medicine of all. It's a mental challenge It's very easy to pick up the basic moves and you are learning all the time. Reacting quickly to the caller keeps you mentally on your toes. With regular attendance, you can progress to more advanced levels. |
It's for everyone
Whether you are single or a couple, it doesn't matter and it's suitable for ages 12 to 80. It's good music
We dance to a whole range of music from pop to all-time favourites. Listen to good singing at the same time New members
Recruitment is important to us. We usually enrol new members every two years. We will be recruiting new dancers at beginner level with two FREE taster sessions Recruitment will not commence until after club nights have been running for 3 months. |

A video clip is here -------------------------------------- It's teamwork
Four couples form a square and dance a pattern of moves sung by the caller. We depend on each other to keep the dance moving. What else?
The club organises some social events. We also hold fundraising events to raise money for charities. |
