Great dancing and social events ....
Lune Valley Ocean Wavers was formed in 1995 and we dance from Beginner through Mainstream to Plus grades. We are the only North West England entry-programme club within 70 miles. Our name, Lune Valley Ocean Wavers, is derived from one of the basic square dance moves.

Monday nights The Centre @ Halton, Low Road, Halton near Lancaster LA2 6NB. 7.30 to 9:30 pm (9:30 - 10:00 Full SSD). Bring your own cup. |
MS Teach & Plus (Friday Nights)

Events:
We also organise some Saturday night dances which are attended by dancers from other clubs throughout the UK and further afield. We have some social events and encourage confident dancers to visit other clubs and their dances.

Recruitment:
The club intends to welcome new dancers once a year in September.
When recruiting, we offer a free taster session at the beginning of the tuition period for anyone who would like to try it. Of course, as square dancers, we offer an enjoyable evening, friendship, good music and exercise.
New beginner classes started on Monday 15th September 2025 @ 7.30pm at The Centre @ Halton LA2 6NB.
Charities:
The club will be supporting the following two charities this year by raising additional funds through raffles, book sales etc

For 2024/2025 the club supported and raised £771.01 through raffles, plant sales etc which was given to the following charity:-

- Unique Kidz & Co provides opportunities for young people with disabilities to socialise, play & grow.
- The Bay a nature and wellbeing programme
